Artist's Description

Street scene in one of my favorite cities, Paris. Like any aspiring impressionist, my goal was to show the light, to put it into the painting, keep it loose, and make it evocative of my experiences.

About Julie Todd-Cundiff

Julie Todd-Cundiff

I’ve been drawing, since I was just a kid. I liked to copy illustrations from my favorite books and create illustrations for fairy tale books. I also loved to draw cartoon characters. In the 4th grade, I created a comic strip based on myself and my buddies at school. Other than the art projects in grade school, I didn’t get any formal training until High School art classes. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Art Education and was an art teacher for a year in upstate New York ( Oneonta). After that, I began a career as a flight attendant for Trans World Airlines. I've been just about everywhere and love travelling, but the best part was being able to see all the great works of art and architecture...
