Artist's Description
This painting was done as a birthday present for my husband, who is a formula one fan. We found reproductions of antique post cards last summer when we were abroad, and this is based on one of them. I copied the basic design (freehand, of course!), then added some of my own touches to it, and completely changed the color scheme. He was very happy with it�.hope you will be also!
About Julie Todd-Cundiff
I’ve been drawing, since I was just a kid. I liked to copy illustrations from my favorite books and create illustrations for fairy tale books. I also loved to draw cartoon characters. In the 4th grade, I created a comic strip based on myself and my buddies at school. Other than the art projects in grade school, I didn’t get any formal training until High School art classes. I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Art Education and was an art teacher for a year in upstate New York ( Oneonta). After that, I began a career as a flight attendant for Trans World Airlines. I've been just about everywhere and love travelling, but the best part was being able to see all the great works of art and architecture...
